As a young artist, I have been intrigued by "emotion" since I started making visual art. Raised in both China and Canada, influenced by different world values, I've always found interest in people's actions based on their background, but what never changes is their emotion. Therefore in this piece, I decided to depict a mixture of emotions based on a worldly event, "birth".
