Communication Team

The communication team is in charge of our podcast and interviews pages. Our goal is to talk with students, scholars, professionals, etc. and create content worth sharing.

Positions available: Team members (2 positions available)

Requirements: 

  • Superb communication skills and writing skills

  • Interest in US-China relations, passion for cross-cultural communication 

  • Previous interview or podcast experience a plus

  • Podcast editing (Adobe Audition, Audacity, …) and marketing expertise a plus. 

  • Fluency in either Chinese or English required, with the ability to speak both languages recommended 

Potential Responsibilities:

  • Speak with students about their unique experiences and identities on our podcast. Potentially come up with your own podcast/interview ideas and reach out to potential guest speakers.

  • Interview professionals and professors for our interviews page.

  • Edit and translate our podcasts and interviews to be ready for our website and social media.

  • Collaborate with other teams on special issues and projects, such as collaborating with the Intercollegiate US-China Journal or the Arts and Culture team on special interviews.
