Nancy is a senior at Wellesley College from Beijing, China, concentrating in Art History and Economics. She writes for Harper’s Bazaar Art and practices visual arts and design. At Wellesley, she partnered with students from Harvard in the Chinatown Afterschool Program to mentor underprivileged K-12 children in Boston’s Chinatown and co-directed the program in 2019. She also worked as the Education Assistant at the Davis Museum. She then went on to build a partnership between the museum and the afterschool program, which allowed her to organize activities that included artist talks, workshops, and museum visits. Such is a manifestation of her passion in connecting and empowering people through cultural engagements.

Through her experiences, Nancy came to identify instruments of thought division across and within the United States and China. In response, she is committed to organizing programs in arts and culture in order to facilitate cross-national communications at the Coalition.
